Zip Line

In the past metal cables were lead to remote mountain huts to make easier the transportation. In the last years these cables were transformed into Zip Line which become one of the most popular activities in Bovec. The theory is the same: get over the deep valley on the shortest way, but instead of the load we are hanging on the wire. Helmet, harness, pulley and we can already start to the longest Zip Line park in Slovenia. High above the town, on 1300 meters, we will zip over more than 3 kilometers long iron cables, we will fly up to 200 meters high above the ground and catch superb sights of the Soča Valley and the Julian Alps.

WHERE TO PARK: parking places in the center of Bovec are limited to one hour. It is suggested to park on the free public parking places nearby
WHAT DO I NEED: sport shoes and comfortable clothes

PROGRAM:

We will meet in our office Soca Splash in the center of Bovec 15 minutes before the start of tour, where you will meet your guide and rest of the zip line team.
After the short briefing about our day together and collecting the equipment ( helmet, zip line belt, gloves), we will drive with jeeps 20 minutes to the starting point, towards the Kanin mountain.
We will put our safety gear on and have an introduction to the zip lining in a smaller zip line polygon. We will learn how to use the equipment, how to brake and how to control your speed on the iron cables.
Once we are ready for a big zip line, we will start our flight on five iron cables, which are 500 to 700 meters long and make a height difference of 300 meters. We will fly up to 65km/h over the valley and admire the spectacular views.
After the fifts iron cable, the jeeps will be waiting for us and comfortably drive us back down to Bovec.
