Caving

Caving is very different from all other activities in our offer. We can get to know an underground world in its naturalness as it was shaped by the water and natural forces in million of years. We can explore a tiny part of this huge and mysterious world mostly by walking, sometimes by climbing hand over hand or vertical up. We will find our way through narrow passages and glorious rooms and we will admire stalagtites and billion years old fossils of the shells. Getting out from the cave does not mean the end of our adventure: we can get to to ground just after a 45-meter repelling.

WHAT DO I NEED: hiking boots, warm clothes

PROGRAM:

We will meet in our office Soca Splash in the center of Bovec, where you will meet your guide and caving team.
After the short briefing about our day together and collecting the equipment (headlamp, helmet, life, climbing belt), we will drive shortly to the starting point, 15 minutes walk away from the cave.
After entering the cave, we will spend inside about 2 hours. On the exit of the cave, we will have the last adventure of the trip, a 25 meters rappel down the rope, that will lead us back to the civilization.
Ten minute walk on a hiking path will bring us back to the car, and after another ten minutes, we will be back in Bovec.
